"Chartruse Bat- future ghost" Assemblage Wall Art 10.5"x16.5"x1" 2019
This is a unique wall sculpture bat (with horns!) made using an array of curated and found obects, sawed wood, polimer clay and then painted with enamel and acrylic paint. It's nose is a car key remote cover and there are some glow in the dark stars abouve its sculpted triangle eyes. The little eyeballs themselves are doll eyes. On its forehead is costume jewelry found after Hurricaine Katrina. Its Head is flanked with parts of old school computer discs from the 80's i found outside an abandoned school. This peice is part of my ongoing series "future ghosts" and was made with care and a lot of little details.
